Experience Wildlife and Nature
Kloten Nature Resort is, thanks to the vast forests surrounding us, also a natural habitat for wildlife.
Malingsbo-Kloten offers vast areas of forests, lakes, and waterways. There’s something to do here in every month of the year. You can swim, paddle, camp, ski, cycle, ice skate, pick berries and mushrooms, or hike in the forest. There are hundreds of kilometers of trails and paths to explore.
A myriad of life exists in our waterways. The Hedströmmen river flows through the area and has been a central location for, among other things, freshwater pearl mussels.
Experience our wild neighbors

Mushrooms, mosses, and lichens.
In Jerån, Hedströmmen, and Klockarbotjärnsbäcken, the rare little moss Timmerskapania grows. In Malingsbo-Kloten, there are also threatened fungi, mosses, and lichens, such as the short-stemmed rustle, lung lichen, yarn lichen, wood bristle moss, fungi Gränsticka, and Stjärntagging.
